Dear Residents of the Domaine Balmoral Association (APDB),
The Committee meets regularly to discuss the general management of the Association and to address key issues affecting our community. We remain committed to preserving and enhancing the quality, safety, and value of our domain for all residents.
This year, one of our primary areas of focus has been the continued enhancement of security throughout the domain. We are pleased to report that Phase 1 of the security camera installation project has now been completed. Planning for Phase 2 is underway and is scheduled to be implemented this fall.
We are also encouraged to see that speed limits within the community are being better respected. This improvement contributes significantly to the safety of all residents and visitors. However, we must remain vigilant. Road safety begins with our own behavior and example. We also remind everyone to respect the no-parking regulations on the streets within the domain.
With respect to the gardening and beautification of our common areas, Paola Brenner continues to do an excellent job maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our grounds. We extend our sincere appreciation for her efforts. To further improve the entrance area, the Committee has identified the need to upgrade the irrigation system and will be evaluating options for this project.
We encourage all residents to familiarize themselves with Sections 3.2 to 3.6 of our regulations, which are available on the Association’s website. These rules are generally well respected and play an important role in maintaining the high standards that make our community a reference in the region.
The Committee is also currently reviewing the architectural provisions contained in the Declaration. We are exploring ways to improve the management and administration of these requirements in collaboration with City Hall, while continuing to preserve the level of oversight necessary to protect the character and integrity of our community. Residents will be updated on our progress at the next Annual General Meeting.
Finally, we wish everyone a wonderful summer season. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Residents’ Cocktail on July 12 and at the Residents’ Golf Tournament on August 24.
Your APDB Committee
